Above is a photo of over 5 years of research to get all the details possible. I have tried to reproduce the Wurlitzer Military Band Organ in all of its beauty. They were made around the 1920s & 30s by the Rudolph Wurlitzer Co. in New York. Other companies made Military Band Organs during the same time period. For those of you to young to remember this is the Organ that played such tunes as Enter the Gladiators on every Carousel in the country. Wurlitzer is only one of several companies who made these organs. To hear them play was to feel the happy go lucky freedom of yesteryear.
